It seems that flicker appears to be normal during the twilight period before sunrise and sunset,once completely darkened or brightened, the flicker will stop.If flickering at other times,there might be something wrong with the dusk to dawn light bulbs.
Something wrong with photocell
If the photocell is not covered, the socket may be connected. shut down
Power, and then pull up on the small tab at the bottom of the socket
More tightly connected to the photocell. It may work … but remember to turn off the light before performing what I said.
Something wrong with the sensor
The sensor must point directly forward. In most cases, if you try to screw the sensor into it, you can only screw it to a certain degree and you cannot push it forward. There is usually a decorative wall light at the bottom of the fixture. It should be unscrewed to reveal the nut. Loosen the nut and it will allow you to rotate the lamp holder in one way or another. It’s easy because the wires are connected. Align the sensor with the sensor so that it is directly facing the sensor point, and then tighten the nut downwards.
Something wrong with the temperature
The dusk to dawn light bulbs are made up by many sensitive small parts,their performance might be influenced by the temperature more or less,when the wearther too cold or too hold,it might not work as well as general enviroment.Also the ‘Error rate’ depends on the time it continuously working,also the quality grade of material,some brands like Philips Lighting,it would offer long-time life span lights which can really work for 10 years and lohasled dusk to dawn light bulbs are also a ‘not bad’ choice.
